Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs various financial calculations, including budgeting, depreciation, working capital, P&L, investment, and other financial and expense performance comparisons. Creates specified ad hoc reports, graphs, and charts of financial data. Consolidate and analyze capital expenditure reporting across all regions and brands including monthly variance analysis and prioritization of key projects. Consolidate interest expense reporting and forecasting across regions working closely with Treasury to understand changes in funding levels and update monthly forecasts. Update monthly depreciation and amortization forecast for the Americas region including monthly variance explains. Provides financial information and support to the organization’s management, corporate functions, and auditors. Analyze and review monthly financial reporting package for senior leadership consolidating key financial metrics and risks and opportunities for the remainder of the fiscal year. Assist in the month end close by analyzing expense accounts and prepare accurate calculation for accounting adjustments as required. Assist in periodic forecast and budgeting process via close coordination with area heads/ operations and other departments. Supervisory Responsibilities This position does not have formal supervision responsibilities. Responsibility Scope/Impact (only applies to job families and field positions) Level I and Level II works under the direct supervision of management or more senior analysts to prepare and summarize basic financial data. These positions have limited accountability for interpreting business results. Level l typically has a minimum of 1 year of financial analysis experience. Level II has a minimum of 3 years financial analysis experience. Level lll works independently on most routine tasks to prepare, research, and summarize more complex financial data. This position may be accountable for interpreting business results. Level IIl has a minimum of 4 years of financial analysis experience. Qualifications Required Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in finance analysis function. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of the financial calculations, reporting, and valuation methodologies. Working understanding of computer application tools to perform financial calculations. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Requires excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams. Knowledge of Hyperion Brio, Wizard Mainframe, and Hyperion Essbase is a plus. Travel Requirements Minimal travel is required.
