Oversee the structural integrity of station buildings, platforms, foundations, retaining walls, bridges, tunnels, and associated civil infrastructure. Coordinate with architects, mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers to ensure proper integration of station designs. Manage site preparation, excavation, foundation works, concrete and steel structures, and other civil construction activities. Ensure compliance with local building codes, transportation regulations, seismic requirements, and safety standards. Conduct structural analysis to assess loads, stresses, and material performance for long-term durability. Oversee the review and approval of engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Address engineering challenges and technical issues, implementing solutions to avoid delays and cost overruns. Supervise contractors and construction teams to ensure adherence to quality control procedures and safety guidelines. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with design requirements. Work with procurement teams to select appropriate materials, construction techniques, and structural systems. Provide technical guidance and leadership to civil and structural engineering teams working on station projects. Manage civil works interfaces with roads, utilities, drainage systems, and pedestrian access to ensure seamless integration. Develop and maintain risk management strategies for structural and civil works to mitigate potential construction risks. Support project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation for station-related structural and civil works. Ensure proper handover documentation and final inspections for station structural and civil components. Required Skills and Competencies Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in structural and civil engineering, with a focus on railway, metro, or transit station projects. Strong knowledge of structural analysis, concrete and steel design, geotechnical principles, and foundation engineering. Experience with construction supervision, project management, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams. Proficiency in structural design and analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D).
