Shift - TBA Wage $24.38 per hour Night Premium $0.50 Job Summary Review and understand all work orders. Setup all fiberglass-bending molds and belling equipment. Adjust all saws for required jobs. Set correct air pressure for fiberglass molds. Adjust all saws and drills for required jobs Any other jobs as given by the supervisor Identify and locate material by dimensional size and color. Retrieve all required materials. Bell or bend all required fittings. Make specialty fittings. Assist in the pull and glue all required fittings Safely operate IPM( Automatic Bending Machines) to obtain maximum output while limiting, monitoring and reducing scrap and downtime. Visual check of parts for damage, proper angle and bell depth. Visual check O.D. Minor repairs (tightening bolts). IPM operator to adjust final set up parameters after Lead Hand has completed changeover, operator to monitor and adjust settings to maximize production output. Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Management. SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Prior experience in fabrication an asset Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English. Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division). Ability to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilograms. Westlake is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
