The Role
At Solink, our SEs are core contributors to the success of our customers and sales organization. This role is rooted in the pre-sales cycle, with a focus on driving value through discovery, storytelling, and tailored solution design. You will work in close partnership with Account Executives (AEs) to uncover customer needs, deliver compelling demos, and build solutions that align with both business and technical requirements. You will not be responsible for implementation or technical support.
We are looking for individuals with a strong sales mindset and technical aptitude. The ideal candidate may come from an AE background and be eager to shift into a more technical and consultative role.
What You’ll Do
Partner with AEs during discovery to qualify deals by uncovering true customer needs, constraints, and buying drivers
Own the technical narrative in sales conversations, ensuring a seamless transition from discovery to demo to solution proposal
Deliver compelling, value-based demos that tell a clear and impactful story
Design and present Solink solutions that directly address the customer's environment, challenges, and goals
Actively participate in sales calls and web conferences, and lead when appropriate to guide the technical conversation
Provide clear documentation of technical requirements, constraints, and scope for handoff to deployment teams
Contribute to quota attainment and revenue growth through your direct impact on deal progression
Stay current on industry trends, relevant technologies, and Solink product capabilities to continuously elevate customer conversations
What You Bring
Must-Have:
Experience in sales, preferably as an Account Executive or in a customer-facing technical role
Strong understanding of technical concepts with the ability to learn and apply them quickly
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, especially in live demo environments
Ability to simplify complex technical ideas for non-technical audiences
A consultative, customer-first mindset with a passion for solving real business problems
Strong collaboration habits: you value partnership with AEs and the broader go-to-market team
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Nice-to-Have:
Familiarity with tools like Hubspot, Confluence, and Google Workspace
Previous experience in video surveillance, SaaS, or physical security industries
Bilingual in English and French
Experience working with networking or cloud-based architecture
Security Requirements
Candidates must undergo a criminal records check upon hire;
