Black Rock Oceanfront Resort is looking for a Houseperson to join our hardworking and friendly team in Ucluelet, BC. This is a physically active role that touches all corners of the resort, from sparkling public spaces to laundry support, supply runs, and guest requests.
No two days are the same. You’ll work closely with Housekeeping and Guest Services, helping to keep things clean, stocked, and running smoothly, so our guests can enjoy the relaxed, west coast experience they came for.

Enjoys variety in their day and is comfortable with a physically demanding role
Key responsibilities include:
Maintaining cleanliness of resort common areas including lobbies, washrooms, hallways, staff spaces, and public areas
Assisting Room Attendants by stripping rooms, delivering linens, restocking supplies, and supporting room turns
Supporting Guest Services by helping with guest deliveries and errands around the resort
Reporting maintenance issues promptly and appropriately
Following safety guidelines when using cleaning products and equipment
Handling and cataloguing lost and found items
Upholding resort hygiene, safety, and sustainability standards
Requirements:
Comfortable lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs
Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and stand or walk for long periods
A team-oriented mindset and strong work ethic
Good English language skills for communication and task coordination
Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
Able to stay calm and focused when pulled in different directions; can manage interruptions and shifting priorities throughout the day
