About the role
The Accountant is a key contributor to the financial health and transparency of Uride. This role is responsible for the consolidation, analysis, and reporting of our financial performance, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all accounting operations. Reporting directly to the Controller, the Accountant will manage day-to-day transactions, reconcile bank accounts, and provide critical insights that support strategic decision-making.

A strong foundation in full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
The ability to interpret and apply GAAP standards confidently
Experience with accounting software and tools

What you'll do
Prepare and maintain accurate accounting documents and records
Reconcile bank accounts and maintain up-to-date cash flow reports
Post journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts
Track and categorize company expenses
Assist in creating budgets and implementing cost control measures
Support weekly, monthly, and annual financial reporting
Process biweekly payroll and employee expense reports
Participate in ad hoc financial projects and analysis
Perform other duties as assigned to support the finance team
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA designation (or in progress) is preferred
Minimum of 2 years of progressive, full-cycle accounting experience
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or QuickBooks
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools
Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic environments
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
Experience with payroll systems
Familiarity with financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
Exposure to audit preparation or tax filings
Prior experience in a startup or high-growth company environment
