This is a high-visibility, enterprise-wide role, where you will support the evaluation of business cases across RBC’s investment portfolio, helping Finance and business leaders understand the performance, risks, and opportunities. The role offers the change to build broad enterprise knowledge, build financial analysis skills and be part of a collaborate, high-performing team that sits at the centre of investment decision-making. What will you do? Evaluate business case data across a wide range of investments. Connect the dots across business cases and investments data to identify trends, patterns and areas for deeper analysis. Use original thinking to dissect forecasts and financial models, uncovering anomalies or areas of potential. Translate your analysis into insights that help shape future investment decisions and performance management. Transform complex datasets into visual tools and dashboards for leadership decision-making. Identify gaps and partner with business units to improve portfolio tracking and reporting. Craft professional presentation in PowerPoint and confidently walk leaders through key findings and detailed analysis. Work closely with other Finance and business teams to grow your understanding of performance drivers across the enterprise. Anticipate executive questions and provide data-driven answers. What do you need to succeed? Must Have Strong ability to work with large, complex datasets and synthesize multiple data points into a clear narrative. CA, MBA, CFA designation (or enrollment in CFA program) strongly preferred. Advanced Excel skills and data/coding (e.g. Python, SQL). Experience in data tools and dashboard creation (e.g. Tableau) an asset. Solid understanding of business performance drivers and with influences financial results. Able to tell a compelling story with data to a senior audience. Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet tight, high-stakes deadlines. Delivers polished, executive-ready analysis and presentations with attention to detail and accuracy. Comfortable taking feedback, learning on the fly, and operating in a fast-paced evolving environment. Self-motived and curious.
