Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity? Works with multiple partners to develop requirements, integrate, build code and execute effective and efficient direct marketing campaigns. Responsible for the design and execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives to maximize revenue growth and provide superior customer experience through relevant and timely offers, while capturing full potential of the RBFG client and prospect data, and realizing CIDM efficiency through sharing and using of best practices. This is a highly technical role requiring hands-on experience with data and decisioning tools (e.g., SAS, SQL, Python and Aprimo / Teradata) and expertises in Data-enabled Customer Relationship Management that provide support to the Canadian Banking Marketing Team to execute effective and efficient direct marketing campaigns and initiatives. What will you do? Work with partners to develop requirements and design marketing campaigns Responsible for translating technical specification into code for the timely deployment of Direct Marketing tactics through a variety of channels Complete quality assurance audits to ensure the campaign design & build has been accurately interpreted to meets the business need Follows all Data Stewardship and Governance policies and processes that align to and support Canadian Banking business strategies and priorities Ensure corporate reputation is maintained by strict adherence to privacy guidelines and ethics, data stewardship and governance policies and processes. Highly skilled at data mining Responsible for development of complex campaigns, integrating and leveraging learnings from past and post campaign results Demonstrate leadership in process improvement, and coding efficiency Identifies and implements new methods or processes to shorten the Marketing cycle or to reduce costs Ensure that all CRM concepts (including predictive models) and CIDM standard methodology and best practices are implemented in day to day routines by self and team Act as Peer coach and shares best practice with team Act as Subject Matter Expert on relevant Data sources, Channels, and CIDM standards Train and mentor new team members, as needed Proficiency in SAS, SQL and Python is a must What do you need to succeed? Must-have: 4-5+ years speciality expertise - relational database marketing and structured programming concepts, including the use of data analytic and decisioning tools (e.g., SAS, SQL, Python, Aprimo Teradata etc.) 4-5+ years experience in application of experimental design Strong Analytical mindset Ability to build strong lateral relationships through influence Strong project management and implementation skills - time management Strong problem resolution and decision-making skills Strong written/oral communication skills to develop and convey thoughtful and insightful explanations Ability to work steadily and accurately under pressure, especially during peak periods Attention to detail and time management is critical.
