This recruitment and selection process is restricted to employees of the House of Commons and parliamentary partners. The Logistics and Protocol Coordinator is responsible for the development of a planning framework as well as establishing the standards, procedures and coordination of a center of expertise required to deliver all aspects of logistics and protocol efficiently for high-level visits, ceremonial events, parliamentary committee activities and parliamentary conferences. You must ensure that all arrangements are delivered in a timely and consistent manner and that all financial and administrative policies are adhered to. The Logistics and Protocol Coordinator is responsible for supervising and advising a team of Officers. The Logistics and Protocol Coordinator may be assigned to the Protocol team or the Conference team with the International and Interparliamentary Affairs Directorate, or to the Logistics team with the Committees and Legislative Services Directorate.You may sometimes be required to travel, and/or work extended or irregular hours, weekends or overtime on short notice in support of these responsibilities. On-site work schedules vary according to operational needs. Individuals must be willing to work up to five days per week on-site. Experiences : Significant experience in managing multiple, simultaneous complex activities, events or projects; Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers; Experience supervising and/or coaching staff; Experience with financial systems and budget management within organizations; Experience in providing advisory services to senior management.
