KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESApply creativity while executing flower requestsOrder necessary materials or equipmentStock and organize goods and package goods for shipment or storagePlan arrangement according to client’s requirements, utilizing knowledge of design and properties of materials, or select appropriate standard design patternPerform general cleaning duties to ensure the shop is clean and tidySelect floral and foliage for arrangements, working with numerous combinations to synthesize and develop new creationsDecorate or supervise the decoration of buildings, halls or other facilities for parties, weddings and other occasionsInform customers about the care, maintenance, and handling of various flowers and foliage, indoor plants other itemsConduct classes or demonstrations, or train other workersWater plants, and cut, condition, and clean flowers and foliage for storageCreate in-store and window display, designs, and looks to enhance the shop’s imageCleans and maintains areas of responsibility according to set standards and proceduresEnsure public areas are well maintained and defect freeReport damage or malfunction in hotel public space to SupervisorMaintain equipment in a proper state of cleanliness and repairMaintain check lists on a daily basisAttend daily briefings with supervisor and takes on daily assigned tasksReports lost and found articles to the Desk coordinator immediatelyHandle guest complaints, reporting them to Supervisor immediatelyReport unusual behavior/activities in guestroom, floors/ public areas to SupervisorComply with hotel’s health, safety and hygiene policyAdhere to personnel grooming and hygiene standardsAttend meetings and training sessions as required PERSONAL ATTRIBUTESGood organizational skillsGood level of engagement with guestsGood knowledge of flower arrangements & Public Area Operations EXPERIENCEMinimum 2 years experience in a similar capacity in a luxury hotel environmentQualificationsQUALIFICATIONSSecondary educationGood Public Area knowledge
