POSITION OVERVIEW The Supply Chain Manager plays a pivotal role in Alpine Aerotech’s growth by leading all Procurement and Logistics operations across both facilities. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance & HR, this position is responsible for ensuring that materials and finished goods flow efficiently through the business, supporting operational and sales objectives. As a key leader, the Supply Chain Manager drives performance excellence by managing and developing a high-performing team, implementing data-driven strategies, and optimizing sourcing, inventory, and logistics processes. With a focus on operational efficiency, collaboration, and excellence, the Supply Chain Manager contributes directly to the reliability, growth, and reputation of Alpine Aerotech. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Supply Chain team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Drive performance excellence through tailored development plans, cross-training, and the implementation of clear KPIs and measurable goals. Oversee all Procurement and Logistics operations across both facilities, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with company objectives. Lead cost optimization initiatives by analyzing supplier performance data, negotiating favorable terms, trialing alternative materials, and identifying new sourcing opportunities. Manage end-to-end purchasing activities for consumables, packaging, and operational materials, maintaining optimal stock levels, lead times, and inventory accuracy. Leverage ERP data and analytics to effectively plan material requirements and support proactive decision-making. Negotiate long-term supplier contracts to secure the best total cost, terms, and reliability for critical materials. Oversee domestic and international logistics, including inbound and outbound shipments, and manage relationships with transportation and freight partners. Utilize advanced Excel and analytical skills to interpret complex datasets, uncover cost-saving opportunities, and enhance process efficiency through automation. Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and Sales to ensure supply chain strategies support broader business goals and operational readiness. Ensure supply chain agility and delivery performance during high-demand periods such as month-end and quarter-end pushes. Fulfill additional duties as required. Uphold an unwavering standard of excellence that impeccable represents the Alpine Aerotech brand. OUR MUST HAVES 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, with a focus on Procurement and Logistics oversight. Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation is considered an asset. Valid driver’s license. Proven leadership experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical capabilities. Experience in the Aviation industry or other highly regulated sector is a strong asset. Strong working knowledge of ERP systems, including item setup, approval workflows, and vendor management. Experience managing import/export processes, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance. Superior Microsoft Office skills with advanced experience using MS Excel, Word, and Outlook; Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to generate high quality deliverables; Strong time and project management skills with the ability to balance competing priorities while keeping stakeholders informed of progress; Robust interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence, and professional maturity with demonstrated ability to effectively interact and build professional relationships; Awareness of the sensitivity of information received and appropriate handling; and Know what it means to work smarter, not harder.
