North West Rubber Ltd., was founded in 1968 in Pitt Meadows, British Columbia, Canada.
In the late ’60′s and early ’70′s, the company picked up scrap tires and buffings from the local area, ground them up, and manufactured rubber mats. These mats were purchased for use in horse and dairy stalls, ice rinks, gyms, and pick-up truck beds. Over the years, the business has grown and changed from a small, regional manufacturer of crude rubber products to a leading, global recycled rubber manufacturer.
Today, North West Rubber is one of the largest rubber mat manufacturers in the world. The company owns and operates manufacturing facilities in Canada (British Columbia, Ontario, & Quebec), in the USA (Texas), and in China. Their products are distributed all over the world.
