Scope of Position: Multimatic Mechanisms Group is looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator (6-month contract) to support our purchasing team with a variety of tasks including data collection, reporting, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the preparation of purchasing reports and KPI tracking. Collect, organize, and analyze data to support monthly cost saving tracking and purchasing decisions. Collaborate with the purchasing team to evaluate supplier performance and supplier strategy adjustments or updates regularly. Participate in supplier negotiations and contract management. Support the implementation of cost-saving initiatives. Learn and assist with streamlining various purchasing processes and procedures. Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned. Education and Experience: Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or an automotive related field. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with a strong focus on attention to detail. Proven ability to organize information/data in a manner that can be easily communicated and understood. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in automotive manufacturing environment is an asset. Achieved or working toward certification in procurement (e.g. CPP, CPSM) is an asset.
