About the Role:
Reporting to the Growth & Innovation Director, the Project Manager - Growth is a key role responsible for driving the Stage Gate & Innovation Management process within the Arnott’s Group (TAG). You’ll be at the forefront of New Product Development (NPD), ensuring that projects move seamlessly from conception through to evaluation. This dynamic position demands an energetic leader who can keep tasks on track for timely, in-full delivery, optimise costs, and foster alignment across diverse cross-functional teams.
What your day looks like:
Manage and drive the implementation of NPD initiatives from Ideation to Evaluation stage, ensuring on time in full delivery and adherence to the NPD process
Project Management of Growth NPD initiatives across Shapes, Tim Tam & Mother Earth
Facilitates weekly Stage Gate process for TAG including managing pre-read documentation, seeking project approval & inputs from senior leadership and then disseminating back to broader cross-functional teams
Independently develop detailed timelines, facilitate operational execution meetings, lead risk assessments and complete review/learnings sessions when appropriate
Be forward-thinking and proactive in addressing project issues and challenges
Oversight of the Project Management approach to NPD & key initiatives; including process changes, best practise optimisation, linkages back to key business processes & documentation
The Ingredients for Success:
Just like you can’t make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role;
NPD project management experience
FMCG/Food industry experience desirable but not essential
Degree qualification with a major in Business, Food Technology and/or Supply Chain discipline
PMP certification or equivalent highly desirable along with proficiency in MS Project
Strong project management skills with a demonstrable record of overseeing and delivering multiple (including complex) projects on time and on budget
Financial acumen, understanding business case drivers
Strong influencing skills with the ability to lead and engage a range of cross functional partners
