POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Manager, Revenue & Credit Management, will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of revenue management, credit risk, accounts receivable, and help in treasury operations to support the organization’s financial health and long-term growth. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, optimized cash flow, and minimized credit risk. The individual will supervise the AR team, collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Legal, and act as a key partner in driving profitability while safeguarding liquidity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor and interpret revenue trends across products, regions, and customer segments
Track revenue drivers like pricing, volume, and mix
Segment customers by volume tiers
Align credit terms with customer volume to optimize risk and retention
Assign risk ratings and set credit limits accordingly
Review customer discounts & rebates contracts
Provide actionable insights into revenue trends and customer profitability.
Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs for credit, collections, and revenue performance.
Streamline data collection and reporting processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Forecast demand and revenue trends using historical data and market analysis.
Credit reviews to establish credit limits to new accounts
Monitor existing credit limits
Supervise AR team
Monitor cash flow and ensure liquidity for daily operations
Minimize bad debts
Reduce overall DSO (reduce average payment days)
Negotiate with clients who have payment issues
Lead the credit management process, including customer credit assessments, approvals, and ongoing monitoring.
Oversee collections strategies to ensure timely payments and reduced delinquency.
Establish policies and KPIs for credit risk management, bad debt provisioning, and dispute resolution.
Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Legal to balance customer relationships with risk mitigation.
Ensure smooth execution of treasury operations during Director’s absence
Maintain accurate credit records and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in credit management, treasury, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large data sets
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar), treasury management systems, and advanced Excel/BI tools (Power BI preferred)
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to collaborate effectively across Finance, Sales, and external partners
• Bilingual in French and English (strongly preferred)
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to adapt to evolving regulations and business needs while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
