Your opportunity:
The Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join our team on a contract basis. Under the general direction of the Director, Technology Services, this position is a critical contributor to our operational effectiveness. You will be responsible for providing technical and analytical support by designing, developing, testing, and implementing administrative workflows and process automations using technology solutions. This role is a fantastic opportunity to directly impact productivity and efficiency across multiple administrative and academic units within the Faculty.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with internal clients and stakeholders across the Faculty to analyze existing administrative and academic processes, identify opportunities for streamlining and optimizing processes, and document business requirements for new solutions.
- Researching, analyzing and recommending potential changes to system features.
- Evaluating new technologies or new and modified processes to determine enhancement requirements.
- Designing, developing, and testing digital solutions to improve processes and workflows and solutions using core platforms such as Microsoft Power Automate, SharePoint, and ServiceNow.
- Planning the implementation of new system processes.
- Advising on cost, feasibility and impact of different implementation solutions.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to project timelines and deliverables, and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Creating comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications and user guides. Developing and delivering training to end-users to ensure successful adoption and long-term use of new systems and solutions.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
- Minimum five years of experience with business analysis management methodologies and techniques, including requirements analysis with stakeholders, flow charts, process modeling and process mapping, test design and execution.
- Experience in systems analysis, or a related role, with a strong focus on workflow and process automation.
- Experience developing and managing multiple projects from initiation to completion.
- Experience developing and delivering training to end-users through diverse formats (e.g. webinars, instructional user guides, etc.), and providing on-going technical support.
- Knowledge and relevant experience with Microsoft 365 applications and tools, particularly Microsoft Power Platform, and SharePoint Online.
- Exposure and knowledge of low-code/no-code development and workflow platforms.
- Excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to quantify financial impact resulting from system implementations or changes.
- Strong written and oral communications skills including demonstrated experience communicating technical information to audiences with varying technical backgrounds.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical staff to achieve project goals.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Ability to work well as a team member and ability to work with minimal supervision.
