YOUR IMPACT
Reporting to the Billing Operations Manager, the Billing Representative plays a critical role in ensuring excellence in the Order to Cash function, with a strong focus on customer onboarding and payment enablement through third-party portals such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Tungsten, and Taulia. This role is instrumental in delivering a seamless and positive customer experience by managing portal registrations, integrations, and ongoing support.
The Billing Representative brings subject matter expertise in billing operations and portal infrastructure, along with strong collaboration and process improvement skills. They support internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure efficient billing and payment processes, while contributing to automation and integration initiatives across the organization.
YOU ARE GREAT AT
Lead customer onboarding efforts through third-party portals including SAP Ariba, Coupa, Tungsten, and others, ensuring timely and accurate registration and enablement.
Manage customer requests related to portals, including vendor onboarding, trading relationship setup, and information requests.
Refine and document end-to-end portal onboarding processes; identify efficiencies and partner with IT to implement system improvements.
Resolve portal-related escalations and ensure compliance with OpenText’s legal and operational standards.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Legal, Compliance, Deal Desk, GIS, Finance) to maintain accurate records and ensure smooth onboarding and billing operations.
Partner with Sales and Collections to resolve billing and collections issues, including account reconciliations to meet financial targets.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in portal infrastructure and billing processes, supporting acquisition integrations and special projects.
Provide guidance and mentorship to peers on portal onboarding best practices and customer engagement strategies.
Ensure adherence to internal controls and policies to protect OpenText’s brand and financial integrity.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Minimum 3+ years of experience in software billing, preferably in a global, high-tech environment.
Proven expertise in managing complex relationships with third-party portals (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Tungsten, Taulia).
Strong reporting and analytical skills (Excel, Power BI, database management).
Deep understanding of invoicing, collections, and contractual impacts on billing timelines.
Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience supporting Professional Services, Cloud Hosting, and Software Licensing business lines.
Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, and Finance teams to support commercial outcomes.
Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and change management capabilities.
High attention to detail, financial acumen, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
