Work with and support a team of Vendor Management and Procurement Analysts.

Assist with purchase requests

Assist with RFI/RFP processes including gathering internal requirements and coordinating demos for assessing IT vendors for selection.

Assist in creating and analyzing requisitions, monitoring, updating requests in purchasing applications.

Prepare received quotes, cost comparisons and analysis for Vendor Analysts negotiating commercial and contract terms and delivery schedules.

Review and process requisitions to ensure timely order submission.

Coordinate meetings with vendors and internal stakeholders as required.

Assist with Vendor Due Diligence and Third Party Risk Assessments prior to and during the lifetime of the service relationship.

Support the implementation, monitoring, tracking and reporting of third party metrics and indicators.

Identify and escalate third party potential or actual contract, performance or risk issues.

Work closely with the finance department to process invoices and research any accounting inquiries.

Work closely with the Project Management Office to understand the project pipeline and upcoming needs for new or current vendor services.

Maintain a strong understanding of Questrade Financial Group service offering, the relationships and dependency with vendors for existing business models and data flows in the business.

Exhibits knowledge of emerging industry practices when solving business problems.

Pushes creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and client mindsets.

At least 1 - 3 year general knowledge of third party management, supply chain management, strategic sourcing or vendor lifecycle management and experience with Procurement and Contract Management platforms

Knowledge of processes for creating and analyzing requisitions, clarifying specifications, monitoring, updating requests in purchasing applications.

Good familiarity with Google Workplace tools and MS Office suite.

Strong interpersonal, communication and documentation skills.

Must have proficient oral and written skills; including report writing and presentation skills.

Expected to be familiar with project implementation methodologies and project management
-
Familiarity with trading systems, online brokerage business models, digital banking and digital mortgage business models.

Experience with the Canadian regulatory requirements, policies and procedures for third party risk management would be a significant asset.
