Bilingual Investigations CoordinatorWe have an exciting role for our not-for-profit client in downtown Toronto. They play a critical role in the resolution of disputes and complaints that are being made against financial services and/or investment firms. Duties:You will manage a caseload of files pertaining to various disputes.
This role involves gathering relevant information, educating claimants, and facilitating communication between stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of an investigation. Cases may include fraud, identity theft, credit card disputes, service issues and Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF), among others, from initiation to resolution.
This challenging position requires managing conflicting priorities, where meticulous attention to detail is crucial. The Cause:This is an opportunity to use your financial industry knowledge in a capacity that NO LONGER contributes to the profit of the big banks, investment firms, or insurance companies. You are supporting the 'little guy' in their fight for justice against bureaucracy.
Required Experience / Competencies / Education:Bilingual (French / English)2+ years experience in banking, finance, investments, insurance, claims, fraud
Strong empathy, and critical thinking skills
Bachelor's degree or College diploma, preferably in commerce, finance, economics, or equivalent work experience
Professional writing ability
Being local to Toronto (or willing to relocate near Toronto) would be beneficial for your commute**this is not a call center role** There is minimal phone work
