Temporary Full-time for approximately twenty-four (24) months
HOURS:
Approximately 75.0 Bi-weekly Hours
SHIFTS:
Days / Evenings / Nights / Weekends / On Call
7.5 Hours per shift

Scale Minimum Maximum
NONU $36.30/hr $44.00/hr
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To provide leadership that ensures the efficient daily operation of the Patient Registration Department
- To facilitate change in support of departmental goals and objectives
- Performs clerical Patient Registration functions as required, communicates with staff and patients on matters relating to timely, efficient entry and distribution of Scheduling/Registration information
- Monitors and maintains an accurate CPI/ADT database and completes scheduling of human resources
- Demonstrate QCH values: collaboration, accountability, innovation, respect
REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 education with Hospital Patient Registration Specialist Certificate from a community college or Grade 12 education with related hospital experience
- Minimum of 3 years of related Patient Scheduling / Registration experience
- Medical Terminology is required
- Accurate typing with a minimum of 60 wpm is essential
- Knowledge of computers/general office procedures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to cope effectively with multiple demands and stressful work environment
