Job Overview
We are currently seeking a Commercial Banking Advisor to join our team. The role involves managing and growing an assigned portfolio of commercial members, providing full range of commercial lending and investment services, and proactively seeking new commercial members through various channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Establish and maintain relationships with existing members, network externally, and promote the organization through community involvement.
- Portfolio Management: Develop business plans, maintain contact with portfolio members, and foster long-term relationships to ensure growth and profitability.
- Sales and Service Strategy: Provide lending and investment advisory services, initiate referrals, and meet sales targets.
- Risk Management: Conduct account reviews, ensure credit terms are met, report on portfolio performance, and handle delinquent accounts appropriately.
- Credit Underwriting: Apply quality standards and risk policies, and approve loans within limits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years banking experience
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Business development skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Occasional overnight travel
- Understanding of risk policies
