Responsibilities
About the role:
The Analyst II Commercial Credit-Underwriting completes financial analysis for floorplan acquisitions, loan proposals, and renewals of existing credit lines. This includes reviewing the dealer's monthly financial statements, analyzing automotive dealerships' financial data, reporting findings accurately, ensuring compliance and risk management, and communicating with dealership personnel and stakeholders. Provide recommendations and supporting documentation to mitigate risk.
What You Will Be Doing
- Interfacing with customers and stakeholders to obtain data for analysis
- Monitoring and managing assigned portfolios
- Spreading and adjusting operating statements as needed
- Reacting to negative trends to mitigate potential losses
- Recommending credit line adjustments
- Communicating risks and exposures to management
- Conducting regular account reviews with leadership, Risk, and Sales teams
- Corresponding effectively with dealers, management, and peers
- Supporting dealer inquiries regarding GM Financial systems, products, and policies
- Staying informed of laws and guidelines to ensure compliance
- Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
What makes you a dream candidate?
- Knowledge of Oracle GL System (preferred)
- Knowledge of Infolease Leasing System (preferred)
- Knowledge of Accounting
Experience
- At least five years of related financial analysis experience in automotive dealership lending
- Secondary School education
- Business, Finance, or Accounting background (preferred)
