Start Date: May 2025Job Duties Include:Provide prompt, courteous and efficient food & beverage service in accordance with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts food & beverage standardsCollection and polishing of all chinaware and glassware for upcoming functionsWork as part of a team to provide a consistently high standard of service in areas such as meeting set ups and all meal functionsDemonstrate professional and positive image to guests and colleagues at all timesEffectively handle guest concerns through empowerment, and report any irregularities to LeaderReport any deficiencies in equipment or level of supplies to the Banquet SupervisorsEnsure the equipment and all work areas are maintained to hotel standardProperly stock all convention equipment in appropriate areas as per the hotel standardsParticipation in departmental meetings, inter departmental meetings, shift line ups and incentive programsMaintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all timesCompliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the hotel health and safety programAssist the house team in setting up function rooms and moving banquet assets/furnitureQualificationsMinimum 1 year in a similar function in Food & Beverage, preferably Banquets or ConventionsPost-Secondary education in Hotel/Food and Beverage Management an assetPhysically fit to lift trays repeatedly, stand and walk for the duration of the shift.You may be required to work on holidays, weekends, overnights and other non-day shifts.
