Reporting to the Transactional Services Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and administering the provision of operational Accounts Payable services to the business units of RAC and in doing so contribute to the operational performance of the Group. What will you be doing? Accurate processing of Creditor invoices in line with RAC’s financial policies and procedures. Electronic storage, security and integrity of RAC’s Groups Tax Invoice records; Proactively seeking out Transactional process improvements and implementing their efficiencies across RAC’s varied business units. Administration of weekly and monthly supplier payment runs and ensuring accounts are paid in accordance with credit terms. Develop sound relationships with RAC Groups supplier base by providing effective and efficient financial and administrative transactional services. Completion of month end activities, including reconciliation of Accounts Payable sub ledger. Supporting and assisting Team Lead Transactional Services with investigations and projects as and when required. Support the Transactional Team and Shared Services Accountants with Month End activities when required. Supporting business Accountants by provision of ad hoc reports or resolving queries. Providing first line support to the Accounts Payable initiative for the Transactional Team. What are we looking for in you? Solid Accounts Payable experience within a medium to large sized services business, along with strong administrational, analytical and numerical skills and good technical acumen. Experience with complex Accounts Payable issues including intercompany related processing. Sound understanding of the ERP modules of Accounts Payable and Procurement (Exposure to Oracle and Dynamics FinOps an advantage). Proven accounts and reconciliation experience. Identify business process improvements. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing environments. Ability to work with high volumes of processing. Attention to detail. Excellent time management skills. Excellent proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of products. Good verbal and written communication skills. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer focus. What can we offer you?
