We’re now seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Clerk to join our Finance team and support the smooth operation of our accounts payable and reconciliation functions. Reporting to the Finance Delivery Manager, this role plays a key part in ensuring the accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations for RAC Insurance. You will also support fleet management, corporate credit cards, bank reconciliation and audit activities, making this a varied and hands-on finance role. What you will be doing: Process supplier invoices and ensure timely and accurate payments Assist with bank reconciliations and transaction verification Reconcile the accounts payable ledger with the general ledger Investigate and resolve discrepancies and variances Manage corporate credit cards (issuing, cancelling, monitoring and reconciling) Support fleet management including registrations, insurance and maintenance Accrue invoices and credit card expenses at financial year end Calculate and report Fringe Benefits Tax related to motor vehicles Support external audits by providing documentation and information Respond to supplier queries regarding invoices and payments Assist with reporting on accounts payable performance using Oracle Payables Undertake general administrative and ad hoc finance duties as required What you will bring: Previous experience in accounts payable or administrative data processing High attention to detail with strong data entry accuracy Well-developed organisational and time management skills Confident communicator with strong customer service focus Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team Solid understanding of basic accounting principles What can we offer you?
